A few years ago a decent drainage system was established in Moodubelle. However, due to lack of negligence, it was blocked and a lot of dump was accumulated and over that all the waste from the nearby hotel was also left to this drainage.

The devotees regardless of caste, creed and religion of St Lawrence pilgrimage shrine, Attar, here from Moodubelle village have gone on a pilgrimage for the successive eighth year by foot here on Wednesday January 30.
